A SIMPLIFIED FEE STRUCTURE

Hutchison Whitehead constructs coordinated financial plans for 

a one-time project-based fee of $3,000.

Half is paid up-front to initiate the service and the remainder paid once the plan is approved.

During our time in business, we’ve seen investment fads come and go, while other methods stand the test of time. The latter are established on principles and grounded in evidence of how they perform over long periods of time. If goals change, we respond and adjust to meet those new goals. But, with anything timeless, if done well on the front end, rest assured the plan is designed to meet your goals.

Think of it this way: you invest in a high-quality pair of leather shoes. They conform to your feet. They provide you comfort and protection. They maintain their timeless appeal. Sure, they may need some resoling from time to time, but they deliver on their purpose and last you decades, because they were done “right” in the first place.

Our mindset regarding financial planning and investment management is not much different than this.

SO REALLY, HOW DOES IT ALL COME TOGETHER?

Out of the financial plan, we have a target rate of return necessary to meet your financial goals.  Based on that rate of return we back into the type of asset allocation, percentage of stock, bonds and cash, we need in the account.  The asset allocation will detail all the asset classes we are using in the portfolio. We then determine the best place or asset location to hold each asset class. Because the same asset allocation can have a better or worse asset location to produce higher/lower after-tax returns, it affects how we trade in different account types (e.g., brokerage, tax deferred, Roth, etc).  Each asset class is given a “tolerance band” that it is allowed to float in.  Once outside the bands, a rebalance is triggered and trades are placed to bring everything back into balance.
