Mike is a CFA Charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. His primary duties include constructing global portfolios that capture market return while minimizing cost and tax consequences to the client. His investment strategies are based on modern portfolio theory, Nobel Prize winning research, and the efficient market theory. Mike brings to the team an analytical background with a broad technical understanding of portfolios and markets and a natural propensity for being a devil’s advocate, which serves well in evaluating risk management.
Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Chemistry minor. Mike holds several FINRA licenses, including the Series 7 and 24, and he also has experience with life, disability and both individual and group health insurance.
